About us

My name is Tammy and I am the founder of A Chick That Knitz. Welcome.

I am a retired cardiac nurse that started hand-dyeing yarn in 2019 as a hobby and a way for my husband and I to travel the country.

What an adventure this has been! I started out of my house; opened a beautiful, well loved local yarn store; went back to my house; and now have settled into a lovely intimate yarn studio in Edmond, Oklahoma.

My team now consists of Rebekah, Annie, and Hailey. We love yarn as much as you and take great joy in your creative adventures.

Thanks to all of you for supporting me and loving our yarn. I truly love and appreciate each and every one of you.

Tammy,

A Chick That Knitz
