Composition:100% Superwash Merino Wool Yarn (19.5 microns)

Yarn Weight: Worsted weight, 4 ply construction

Yardage: Approx. 219 yards (200m) per 100g hank

Extra fine (19.5 micron) merino is used for these yarns. It feels soft and gentle against the skin. These yarns are worsted spun from extra long staple fibres to produce a yarn that is fine and strong with a silky feel.
A very versatile yarn, it can be used for shawls, wraps, mittens, socks and light jumpers. Washable in cold water on a gentle cycle, it is also suitable for children's and baby clothes. Very soft and springy.

Suggested Needle/Hook Sizes and Gauge:
Needle Size: 3.5 - 4.5mm (US 4 - 7) needles and E - G Hook
Gauge (stockinette stitch): 22sts x 30 rows over 10cm/4 inches on 4mm (US 6) needles

Care Instructions:
Hand wash using a wool detergent, ideally below 30°C, avoid wringing and twisting. Dry flat out of direct sunlight, do not spin or tumble dry.
